La Johna Huffman and I met when our 9 year old girls were just babies and we worked together! She is a fabulous mother, loving wife and a super fun friend to have! La Johna and her husband both run successful businesses and have a beautiful family. I’m so excited for you all to meet her!
Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I was born and raised in Antioch and have lived in Murfreesboro for the last few years with my family.

One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
People would be surprised to know that I’ve wished to have my own cooking show for years for families who are busy and always on the go.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
My more than fantastic husband! He is the definition of a teammate in parenting and I can’t imagine doing life without him.
Favorite things to do with your kids in the Nashville area or local to your suburb?
Our kids enjoy going to Go USA(M’Boro) for go-carting, golfing, & arcade games as well as walking the trail in Cason Lane in Murfreesboro.

How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
This community has helped me and my family in so many ways. Our girls have flourished in such a kind and open community which helps me as a mom connect with more moms that relate to self-employment, parenting, and working moms. Murfreesboro is a fast growing city, yet still has a small town heart. I can’t wait to keep raising my family in such a sweet and diverse place.
