I was born and raised in Franklin, TN

One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I am a Nashville native, (a unicorn) my family has lived in the area for more generations than I can count. My dad lives in the house my grandfather built before WWII in the middle of Green Hills. So we don’t leave, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
I started a play group in 2014 of kids born in October/November 2013 (Jackson’s birthday is October 17, 2013). These girls have gotten me through the ups and downs of parenting. What started off as a random group that got together every now and then has turned into some of my closest friendships.
Favorite things to do with your kids in the Nashville area or local to your suburb?
Jackson loves to go to Dave & Busters, so we treat him every now and then. We also love spending time in Downtown Franklin and adventuring to Dragon Park in Hillsboro Village.
Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!
We own a company called Twine Graphics & Screen Printing. What started in a shed in 2010 as an idea between my husband and his business partner has grown into being one of the largest custom apparel companies in the area, and we opened a retail location last year showing what we can do for other local businesses and organizations on the square in Downtown Franklin.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Once upon a time Franklin and Nashville were considered small town, haha! But we still have that small town feel, we have built our business on word of mouth and recommendations. We couldn’t have done that without this awesome community.
