Meet Jenni | Nashville Moms Network

I met Jenni last year when she moved into our neighborhood and started up a super fun monthly Bunco night! Not only is she a mean dice thrower, but a great mother and she has started a fabulous business I’m excited for you all to learn about too! Thanks for letting us feature you, Jenni!

Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I was born in Dallas, Texas but I was raised in Franklin, Tennessee. My family and I still live in Williamson County today.

Child(ren) and Age(s)?
I have two children, a son, Wyatt who is two years old and a daughter, Hadley who is 14 months old. We planned them to be close.

One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I am terrified of ketchup- my brothers were obsessed with ketchup and covered everything with ketchup. I never liked it, I can’t stand the smell of it and it cannot touch any of my food or I won’t eat it. Of course, Wyatt is just like my brothers and is now obsessed with ketchup.

Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
I would like to thank my husband, Drew and my mom, Carole. My husband is such an amazing dad, he packs the kids’ lunches, gets them dressed (and even adds Hadley’s bow), has them most afternoons plus cooks dinner. He is an all-star. My mom is simply so helpful and our kids would not be able to go to preschool without her. She takes the kids to and from preschool Tuesdays through Thursdays! My kids love seeing their “CeCe” so much throughout the week and I think she enjoys it too.

Favorite things to do with your kids in the Nashville area or local to your suburb?
There are so many things to do! We love taking them to the zoo- the membership is so worth it, festivals throughout the year, the local parks or splash pads when the weather is appropriate.

Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!

I am a full time working mom as a Clinical Business Coordinator at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Perioperative Services. I am extremely organized, manage my time well and I pay attention to detail. Back in August, I decided to start an organizing business called Organize Me because people would frequently tell me they need me in their homes to help them. Something was telling me to start a side business and let my passion help others and it is not work if you love it.
