Meet Beth | Nashville Moms Network

Meet Beth! She makes the cutest things for Moms and babies that she sells online, at local events around Nashville and wholesale! And she’s got the most adorable family! Enjoy!

Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?

I was born in Omaha, NE but raised in Southern California and went to high school in Missouri. I moved to Nashville for college, and 17 years later, I’m still here!

Child(ren) and Age(s)?

I have two adorable boys – a 3 month old, Owen and a 3 year old, Liam

One thing people would be surprised to know about you…

Most of my new “mom” friends have no idea that I used to tour with bands! I traveled the country for over 8 years, mostly in the Country music world. I lived on a tour bus and was in a different city every day working on the behind the scenes/ production side of concerts. I’m definitely not a singer or musician, but I enjoy the behind the scenes and being part of a team that can pull off a memorable night for fans. I met me husband while touring, and we were able to go to some pretty amazing places around the world!

Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?

Oh man, there are so many to name! They say it takes a village, and I wholeheartedly agree! From hearing advice from other moms, meals being dropped off, to listening ears, ALL of it is helpful! Having family close definitely helps too!

Favorite things to do with your kids in the Nashville area or local to your suburb?

I love that Nashville has so many great family friendly options! In the summer, water parks (Williamson Rec Center, Port Royal Park, Splash pad in downtown Nashville) are a huge hit with my 3 year old as well as Lucky Ladds Farm. In the fall/winter we love going to all the fair/festival type stuff. Downtown Franklin is a must for Pumpkinfest, and Dickens Christmas. We also love going to Pinkerton Park to play and Preservation Park to go check out nature.

Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!

When I’m not chasing my boys around, I have a creative outlet, With Love Louise. From graphic mom tees and hilarious mugs to adorable cosmetic bags, we make it easy to find the perfect gift for everyone on your list! I sell mainly on Etsy, but also wholesale to a few places, including wayfair.com. I really started to work on it late in my pregnancy with my first son, during the time I became a stay at home mom. It was my way to be creative and have my own thing, and connect to the “outside world”, while still being at home to take care of the tiny human! Before children, I had heard a lot of moms say they lost themselves in the years with young children and I wanted to be sure I had something that was just for me that I enjoyed.

How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?

I think knowing that every mom has been in the survival mode of motherhood in the early years is comforting. It’s been nice to know that I am not alone. I am not the only one who has a kid that won’t sleep, won’t eat his vegetables, and loves to throw tantrums! It’s exhausting and hard, and I love that there is a community that understands where you are coming from and can give advice and listen.
